How to Setup your
Obsidian AI Tools
Getting Started
When you sign up for Obsidian AI Tools you’ll receieve a welcome email from [email protected] with your username and password.
You can use this password to log in. To reset your password, you may change it here https://chat.obsidianaitools.com/password by selecting “forgot password” and entering your email address.
If you’re having trouble setting up the Obsidian AI Tools inside of Obsidian you can use the tools in your web browser by visiting https://chat.obsidianaitools.com/
Your underlying service is hosted with Ultimate AI and you have full access to all the premium api models here.

Custom Frames
If you would like to use Obsidian AI Tools inside Obsidian, the Custom Frames + Commander Community Plugin setup is my prefered method for using the tools.
You will need to ensure you have these two plugins installed before following the steps below:
Setting up the Custom Frames Plugin
01) Navigate to Obsidian Settings
02) Select Community Plugins > Browse
03) Download and Install Custom Frames
04) Left Click Options
05) Select Custom > Click Add Frame
06) A New Frame will be created
Select Show Settings
07) Add the following details
Display Name = Obsidian AI Tools
Icon = Choose one from Lucide.dev
URL = https://chat.obsidianaitools.com
IMPORTANT
Restart Obsidian before adding to Commander as your Custom Frames wont show until you do this
08) Navigate to Obsidian Settings
09) Select Community Plugins > Browse
10) Download and Install Commander Plugin
11) Left Click Options
12) 1. Select Tab Bar Page
13) 2. Left Click Add Command
16) 1. Left click to Open Web Viewer
17) 2. Left click to Open Custom Frame with Obsidian AI Tools
Sign into your Obsidian AI Tools Account
You must have a valid subscription. If you haven’t signed up yet please click the button below otherwise you’re ready to level up your Obsidian experience.
18) You’re now set to go
1. Click to use Obsidian AI Tools
2. Obsidian AI Tools will be shown in right pane
3. Prompt your AI
4. Change your Model
